 \\;I bought a new front mount and installed it about three times now and it sux, the part # is 16207-79D, which means it's the latest and greatest the moco has to offer, no thanks, it shakes so bad I will put my old one back on until I can find a aftermarket one that will be more like the orginal one, Drag has one that looks a little like the old one and a indy has one so I may try it, just thought I'd keep you guy's from waisting your money and time.
Well what ever you do next. \\; DO NOT get the part number "L0501.2" \\;it does NOT have the new style mount as the supposed bulletin eludes to...
 \\;
I've orded it and received the EXACT same part as what came off my bike in a fancy BUELL package with the L0501.2 part number. \\;
 \\;
WHAT a RIP OFF....
 \\;
I've indicated such in the link that DAWG has sent.
 \\;
I don't know if he is refering to using that part or going with what another member has quoted being a J&\\;P part for a better motor mount??
 \\;
Well the one I put on looks just like the one in the picture in the thread that Dawg referred to, and it sux, not to bad on take off and riding but at Idle it blows big time.
well i ordered the Buell part for my 06 Streetglide, I gues I will find out shortly if it will fix the idle shakes..
 \\;
all i can say if it looks like this bag ask the parts guy to print out the tech bulletin and then open the package in front of him. \\; if the new part looks just like the orginal item on the left then its \\;mostlikely \\;identical to what you have on you bike at this time
I tried an aftermarket (DS) mount on my 07 and it is way to soft, smoother at idle but much worse at speed. Went with HD latest 79D and find that the best all around. \\; My guess is the Buell part and the HD part are the same.
