The Garmin 2720 is a great unit. \\; I've been using a 2610 since they first came out and have not seen anything out there that would compel me to sell it and get another. \\; I know there are some great deals to be found on them if you shop around.
Check out the Garmin Zumo 550. It's a GPS and also plays MP3's. You can pair up your phone and use it bluetooth. Also comes with both the car and bike mounts. \\;
Doesn't the Garmin 2720 have an internal hard drive instead of using memory cards? \\; I may be wrong, not sure. \\; What I've read is you want to stay away from any unit using an internal hard drive, they don't hold up well to vibration.
I've got a 2610, been happy with it. \\; Friend of mine bought a refurb 2610 last week for less than $170.
2610 has flash memory and is a great unit, especially since you can get it on the net for a great price. \\;\\\\\\; it is water resistant and works great. \\;\\\\\\; GPS is great since you can leave your planned route and explore off the main routes and still get directions back to your destination.

Zumo 450 or 550 built for motorcycles, or can be used in the car.
Love my 450, but think I might go the extra for the 550 and get all the extras free. Cables, mount for car, etc.... Plus have the additional advantage of Bluetooth, for the future If I ever wanted it.
 \\;
Have my zumo hardwired into the fairing area, and sound plugged into the stereo, So I hear the directions as well as listening to the 2 gig's of MP3 music I have stored on the card. Yes I would do it all again! Water proof, vibration quality made for Motorcycles, You bet!
