Default Great Trip

Just got back from what has to be the best vacation&nbsp\\;the Mrs and I have ever had!
&nbsp\\;
Desination "Grand Canyon!"
Left N.VA on 26 June, &nbsp\\;rode to MI for the family reunion. Left MI on 30 June&nbsp\\;arrived Cheyenne, WY on 2 July, visited Estes Park,&nbsp\\;CO, drank&nbsp\\;a Maker's Mark&nbsp\\;on the rocks in Nederland, visited the Royal Gorge,&nbsp\\;visited a buddy in Breckenridge, went over to Durango, and did the train to Silverton, Left Durango for Mesa Verde, and then Four Corners, traveled through Monument Valley on the way to the North Rim of the Canyon, after the North Rim, went to the South Rim, then went to Prescott,AZ and&nbsp\\;visited Whiskey Row.&nbsp\\; After all that it was time to head east, and back home.&nbsp\\; After all was said in done we arrived back home on 13 July after racking up 6006 miles!
&nbsp\\;
The Mrs was a real trooper ( It got real flippin hot at times) and she enjoyed the trip as much, if not more than I.
&nbsp\\;
No issues with the bike, although that fuel filter shell demon was dancing in the back of my head (build date\\;08/07)!&nbsp\\; Call it luck, or whatever.&nbsp\\; This&nbsp\\;was one experience we'll always cherish, and doing by the "scoot" made it all the more incredible.

Sweet,&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; and what a coincidence,&nbsp\\; 3 years ago we rode to Badlands, Yellowstone, down to Grand Canyon and back to Harrisonburg VA for a grand total of... 6006 miles.
&nbsp\\;
Leaving next Saturday for Denver and then points Northward for another 2 week adventure out West.
&nbsp\\;
Glad you had a good and blessed trip.

Flakdog,
&nbsp\\;
Don't think I can say which route is best.&nbsp\\; After the 4 Corners we backtracked up 160 for five miles to catch 163 through southern Utah, because we wanted to see Monument Valley. We stayed on 163 until it linked back up with 160 in Kayenta,
AZ, then stayed on 160 until we hit 89, and then headed north to Vermillion Cliffs.
&nbsp\\;
I guess it would depend on if there is anything particular you wanna check out.
&nbsp\\;
I gotta tell ya Bro,,, it was friggin hot, but once we got to Monument Valley it was all good.
&nbsp\\;
Aclass: talk about coincidence our milage at the end of the trip was also 6006!!!&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Too wild!
&nbsp\\;
