Nate, how do you like the Klock windshield? Been contemplating one of those but am hesitant for two reasons, the price and the potential for buffeting noise interference with the stereo. Nice looking RG you got there.

I don't have any complaints, really I like it a lot better than the stock shield. With the stock height shield I was looking half through it & half over & didn't like that at all, with the KW I look well over it & still get the wind protection.

I installed the "Heritage" style bars from H-D on my 08 RG and have been very happy with them. Liked the fact that I could use the stock cables, and have been told that with the ABS you need to run the stock length brake cable, is this true or false. Really like the looks of the Khrome Werks bars and wouild like to try them if I can use the stock brake cable. Just when you thought you were close to being done.....of course we all know....that never happens....

sweepers on 09 RG
Just did the install of the sweepers on my 09 RG. This thread was a great help along with the service manual. Had to cut a couple wire ties and reroute the clutch cable but everything went great. Thanks for all the info. Can't wait till spring to try out the bars!

Just did a temp install of the +2 sweepers on my roady to see what they felt like. All I can say is it's gonna be a long winter. They just feel right. Sitting more upright now...man when is this snow gonna be gone!!!!!
On another note, looks like it would be REAL tough to get these wired internally. Just doesn't seem to be enough room for the TBW and the hand controls in the same bar.
