Can ABS can be added on by the dealer or is it a factory only option??

 

Being able to steer your bike under hard braking is great. It is much better than having the rear end come around. I test rode a bike with abs and slammed on both brakes and steered around an object. I was very impressed. My next bike will definitely have abs.

 

Factory only option. Someone once asked if they could add it on after. I believe he was told it would be about $4000.00 to do it. Seach the forum, it's here somewhere.

 

A Must have . And you will use it .cheap at that price

 

I don't have them on mine and the Brembo brakes are awesome. Having said that if I had an option I would get one with ABS, no such thing as too safe. I'm dreaming of an aftermarket option one day????

 

You guys have talked me into calling the dealer back and ordering one with ABS now. I know in wet weather, it would give you so much peace of mind....
