J and M...working fine. I too got tired of the whip hitting the garage door going in and out. BTW...at one time John from J&M was a contributor on this forum, don't see his name anywhere now, maybe he dropped out. Anyway, he was easy to get ahold of and the antenna's worked fine both for CB and FM. pricey though at about $40.00 a piece.

I cut off that annoying stock antenna to 1 foot long to fit under my tour pak and I havent noticed any different reception other than the weather band doesnt quite have as long of range now.

I appreciate all the advice. I went to my local Advance Auto store and purchased a replacement mast for $5.00. It works great. I should have made myself more clear, I only needed a replacement mast. I'm filing away some of the advice for later changes to my ride. Thanks again.
