Any "Buffeting" with Fairing?

Any "Buffeting" with Fairing?
I am planning to get an aftermarket fairing soon. Are there any riders out there who can chime in on the subject? I have an HD windshield that produces turbulence around my helmet. (My chrome wind deflectors no longer fit since adding the "new" Aux light kit). Does the bat wing clean up the air?

The batwing will be better protection wise than the RK windshield. Regarding helmet buffeting it all depends on how tall you are and what size shield you have. I'm 6' and have found the best shield for me to be a 12" clear.
On another note, be prepared to experience a little handlebar shake from time to time depending on which way and how hard the wind blows. Not a big deal.

I get a little helmet buffeting from my street glide. The top of my helmet it right at the point where the wind from the wind deflector hits. Not to bad though. I just took a 1000 mile trip and traveled about 80-85 and did not really notice much handlebar shake. The only time I noticed this was passing a semi. I am pretty sure you would feel that though no matter what you were riding.
