We're having some passenger heat issues and have been told that true duals will help. I have done the upgrade, changed the mufflers and air cleaner. Will true duals help with heat, and what can I expect from a performance standpoint? Thanks!
tenderwarrior,
I went with Reinhart True duels and after I remapped it with a program from Fuel Moto, it ran much better and much cooler. Then, after about 100miles the performance seemed to pick up even more. I am very pleased with not only the cooler running, especially from the left side, but also the improved performance.

I realize this an old post, but I have the same bike 08 Ultra Classic still all stock, I am wanting to upgrade to true duals and add not the best but a decent air intake, What tuner did you use from Fuel Moto and for now that all I plan on doing with my budget. Just feels like my bike wants to run better. It has 37K and I am second owner.

I would avoid going down the rabbit hole of constant upgrades.
Replace the exhaust if you want. You do not need to replace the air cleaner, just clean it. You do not need to retune either.
