Glad you are okay. We just got my wifes 08 SG out of the shop because a litttle female twit (19 year old) slammed her brakes on, no turn signal and caused my wife to crash. The little twit fled the scene of the accident and we still have not located her. I saw the entire accident unfold.
If I have said it once I said it a hundred times that young girls are the main cause of bikers deaths and they cause the majority of all accidents. They need to have to pass the drivers license test twice and complete drivers ed courses at least three times before they are allowed to get behind the wheel.
They are always texting and multitasking while driving. They have made me very prejudice. I have lost three close friends due to young girls pulling out in front of them while they were on their bikes, all three died. Two of the damn twits didn't even get a ticket. Go figure!!!!
Man, there are some very understanding riders on this board, Im not even gonna say what we have done or would do if that was us...............
By the way most cops will give the cager the break, not the biker.
Dude if you dont get a lawyer than your a bigger idiot than the one that hit ya...........
We have a biker lawyer advertising on TV in our area and the reason he started, because he was hit himself on his bike and cops did nada, just like with OJ.....so civil court is a good option.
Nick@Nite,
You stated that "most cops will give the cager the break, not the biker".
I can't agree with that. It's been my experience that most officers are a bit more protective of riders. They have fellow officers who ride police motorcycles on duty and many officers ride their personal scoots off-duty.
i was heading to st.augustine yesterday and im going through daytona beach heading north im just passed main street and this little cu-t comes flying up to and past the stop sign and stops 4 feet into my lane from where i was riding i had to move over to the left or i would have nailed her. and there was a cell phone to her left ear can you belive that
That had to be in the rain also, I was running the same roads yesterday.
glad you are ok.i wish they would ban cell phones when driving.i to was hit by a young girl talking on phone.had only had her licence 2 weeks.put me in er.she only got ticket for reckless driving,35.00 ticket in oklahoma
Glad you're okay. Let me add to everyone else saying "GET A LAWYER!!!" The bastards at the insurance company will screw you to the wall if they get the chance. The attorney is worth it.
Lady just hit me coming out of a gas station, don't think on a cell, but negligent none the less, I posted about it here. It's been a couple weeks, still going through offers for the totalled bike, and following up on medical care...
Good luck, hope you get better, and come out ok in the end...
Glad you are ok. Obviously the bike can be fixed or replaced. This chit is getting real old real fast. Something needs to be done about this cell phone craze. Everybody has one. Hell you see young kids with cell phones glued to their ears or texting. Nothing like getting them into the mentality at a young age.
J/K, yep chicks on phones are the most dangerous, then young boys, blue hairs, chicks, drunk men, undrunk men, in that order. Glad you are still with us, sue the hell out of her, if for nothing else just to teach her a frikken lesson, cant believe she did not get a ticket.
