Default Normal or not

I took my bike in for the 1st 1000 mile service. Change to synthetic oil in all 3 ports. After riding for about 200 miles i noticed some oil seepage, not dripping but some oil around the where the shifting rod arm goes into the tranny!!! I took it in to the deal ship and after 4 days of have my bike the tech said he wiped it down and It didn't have any leakage at the dealership, I took my bike for a 80 mile ride today and checked the same area and low and be hold there is that seepage again, not a lot but I know it is there, is this normal or do I have a seal problem? I bought the bike brand new and it is only 3 months old!!

You have a leak in the seal. It's a fairly common problem, but not on such a new bike.

I agree with Harleypingman.

Take it back to the dealer.

Also, synthetic tends to seep easier than regular oil...

I just had my 1k service done. I told the dealer to use synthetic; however, he advised me not to use it in the tranny.

It's a leak.I have had mine changed 2 times already and at the last change, the shift shaft was replaced also.
It's not the syn causing the problem.

My dealer has put Syn3 in all 3 holes for the last 3 oil changes....there is no good reason not to.
