Should I do it?????????
Well, a little over a year ago I took possesion of my 2008 Fatboy and set out to make it mine. Big radius pipes, detachable bags, detach backrest and detach winscreen along with some great flame theme add ons. Candy red sunglo and very nice. I sat on a 2009 Street Glide and I think I have to have one. I spent most of the summer and fall behind the windshield and really like the ride that way. Tunes, well that is getting to be a must. I know I'll get hammered on th etrade, though the dealership knows me well and knows the bike is basically new and only has 1800 miles. Should I make the move if the trade is reasonable? I'm leaning toward the fire red sunglo, but the 2nd qtr candy rootbeer looks nice too. I haven;t seen the black ice/blue ice, but wish I could as well. Driving me nuts!!! Thanks
I'm not big on buying a bike and selling it after one year, but if you've found one you like better and are REALLY sure it's the one, I'd have to consider it. It takes a lot to make a bike your own, so I wouldn't do it unless your sure, then make it yours and keep it. Good luck.
Besides taking it in the shorts on a Trade-In or trying to sell it out-right in today's market... There's a bunch of Softails that have been converted to Full Dressers and that might be worth the beating your going to get on the Trade???
If you only put 1800 miles on your bike in a year, why do you even own one? I don't get the "have to have it" when it doesn't sound like you really do much riding. No offense just don't get having a bike that long and never riding it.

With such low miles you should see if any one out there is interested in a swap plus cash or sell on the private market.put it on craigs list thats free.good luck and let us know what happens
+1 there. That's how I got my Road King. Found a guy who couldn't handle it and wanted a smaller bike. Traded my 02 Low Rider for it with the same miles. Hey, it was a very nice FXDL that I had "made mine."
