My new Mustang Solo w/Backrest has arrived this morning. It's beautiful. I tryed a quick fit, as I was taking a break from work, and it seemed to fit perfect. The backrest also fits just as the one at Biketoberfest did. And the workmanship is extremely nice. The studs are where they should be and secured very well. Ditto on the backrest. The chrome on the parts for the backrest is fantastic. Adjustment nut itself is perfect. Awesome!!
Now I need to ride it!
Compared to the Saddlemen crap is like comparing a '75 Pinto wreck to a Mercedes.
Damn I'm happy!

Really glad to hear you like the Mustang seat because mine arrives tomorrow - hopefully I'll have it installed before my Saturday ride and will be as satisfied.
Best deal I found was at West End Motorsports
Mustang solo for '08 RK for $278 plus free shipping, excellent service, shipped with FedEx along with tracking number the same day as purchase.
Mustang is a class act. If you buy directly from them, you can return the seat for a full refund, if the seat doesn't work for you. Try that with Corbin or Danny Grey or any other seat maker out there.
I've had several Mustang seats on my bikes over the years and they have always fit well and been very comfortable. If you like it now wait till you get some miles on it, it will just get better! Have 8000 miles on my 08 FLHT with a Mustang and it's like sitting on the couch!
