I had the Stage I done ... dyno and sert ... I kinda expected the backfiring to stop, but I still get some ... what I really don't like is that every now and then I get a loud POP, like a gun shot ... The service folks just kinda shrug their shoulders ...
The bike is backfiring through the intake/breather, (POP). Does not sound like an exhaust backfire and does mean something is wrong! Will kinda feel like the bike is going to die, cause it can happen when on the throttle. Feels like you are not getting fuel for a moment and the pressure comes out the intake. NOT NICE!
just dropped off the 06 standard for a dyno touch up, having a little bit of backfiring, not much. I'll have some results later
Ok, fires up a little faster than it did, no backfiring, very few decl pops, new tail lights(the red ones that light up when braking) runs like a scalded dawg. 85 bucks. Having a dealer you trust and does not rape you...PRICELESS!!!
