For EGC Owners

Have any of you added the rear speaker kit? Is it worth the expense? Does the amp draw too many amps? Do you notice the difference in the sound?

I had this kit on my 05 EGC-the bike I should have kept but thats another story- I found myself lowering the rear speakers to less than half the volume and basically just using them to supplement my front ones. They LOOK better to me than without them but if I remember correctly its like a 450-500 dollar kit with the amp. not worth it to me.

I added the Rear Speakers/Pods. Bought everything from Hogtunes/Pez. It does look better having the rear pods but can't really say that I can actually hear the speakers. The front Hogtune speakers sound great, you should start with those first. The amp also makes a big difference but that drives the front speakers only.

also has a lot to do with if you have a detachable tour pac. i had this on mine which kinda killed the addition of rear speakers. i would upgrade the fronts imo...ride safe

I added the rear speakers to my EGC and I don't think it was worth the money. I can't hear them, but my grandaughter says that she can hear them when she's on the back.

Depends on whether you ride two up and like your passenger.
I don't really hear the rear speakers much on my Ultra unless I set the fader more to the rear.
But my girl friend likes the way they sound with the fronts..
