You winterize lawn mowers not motorcycles. I live in Pennsylvania and ride all year. Rode home from work in snow,Never started out in snow. Do not mess with black ice. Have heated gloves gettin heated socks. Had heated grips on my 08 Ultra but caused me to loose throttle/go to idle in passing lane. Got rid of them. Ride with full face helmet in adverse/cold conditions. I guess its the challenge because sometimes its not fun/safe.

I ride if it's over 40 degrees up til they start salting the roads. Then it time for Stabil and the Battery Tender and a cover. Then it sits until the first rains of spring wash the salt off the roads.
