I have been trying to get info from HQ about their T-103 build. They have not activated my request for admission to the Q & A forum, and they don't take phone calls. My request was as follows. I have a 07 ultra with V & H true duals, 4 inch SE muffs, PC III with LCD, wonder if their build is compatable with my set up? I now have Woods tw 6 cams. Way to much valve train noise. Is the T-103 build as quiet or quieter than stock? Is anyone running something similar? If so how do you like it. Maybe I will contact similar providers, any suggestions?
Kevin's here in Georgia and recently did a HQ 103" Sport Touring build on his Dad's '08 Anniversary Ultra. lkr0 on here has done the HQ 103" and recently had a HQ 107" ST on his '09. Many other HQ builds on HDF.
Good luck with your research. You can also consider R&R, GMR, and others.
call Kevin he will return your call and point u in the right direction, I have done two HQs builds--Kevin supervised the second build.
HQs quality and performance is outstanding. On my 103 SG I put 24000+ hard miles (burnouts, wheelies, slides, drag racing, etc.) not one problem with the motor.
I have not had a chance to put miles on the 107 yet --- it's going to get the same treatment as the 103.
you can use all of the stuff you have don't know about the cam, but everthing else will work. I used a PCIII and Rinehart Tru Duals on the 103 went with a SERT and Thunderheader for the 107.
