I know some folks who've added slip ons without rejetting and they didn't have any problems. I bought my bike used and the prior owner added slip ons without remapping the EFI. On decel it would pop and rumble. I had a stage 1 flash and reset the hot/cold idle and didn't have anymore problems.

slip-ons only should be ok, slip-ons + stage one intake = needs a tune.
