Good choice. I keep thinking I want to get the detachable tour pack kit, because I really like the look of the Street Glide. But I use the tour pack so much, don't think I would ever take it off. Either way, you will really like the ride.
Bought mine in September. Paid $23,400 out the door including the second intercom headset and detachable tour pack kit. Oh yeah, color is Dark blue pearl.
I did buy a EG and then a SG. The EG and SG are fantastic bikes. I just wish I would have just bought the Ultra first. You will love the Ultra. I have been told that the 09's are so much nicer wish I would have Know about all the new changes. Good luck with your next ride.

With the detachable tour pack kit, what happens to the radio reception since you lose the antenna? -- thanks
I recently bought an 09 Vivid Black, ABS and Security. Traded an 04 RK Standard. Difference was $10,056 out the door with a $500 gift card. Sounded like a great deal to me, couldn't pass it up

You have the choice of the antenna relocation kit which puts it down by your left saddlebag or go with the hidden antenna in the fairing. I would go with the fairing antenna, that way you don't have to keep moving the antenna. Are you wanting to trade in your present bike ? If so it makes it hard to get a good deal over the phone at out of town dealers without the dealer being able to look at your scoot.
