Question Should I Be Concerned.....
I hope I'm just overly concerned but need some additional help with a question I have. I looked at the front jug today (picture included) and noticed some oil coming from the rear to the front of it. Now being that this is my second bike I know that bikes tend to leak but I have not had one leak up there. I would appreciate the help. Also the local dealership is 45 minutes away and this is my only means of transportation so if don't have to go I won't.

Is it possible that it is coming from the Air Breather (filter)? Have you wiped it off to see if It has come back!! I would take it in and get it checked!

No I have not but I will wipe it off tonight and check after I get to work tomarrow, thanks.

My '08 Super Glide Custom had a leak like that and it turned it it was a bad jug. They called it "a pourous case" and had to replace it under warranty. Seems they had some jug problems on '08's, the oil came thru the cast with no visible sign of a crack or pinhole. In any case, they completed the job in 1/2 a day.

Looks like I will be making the trip to the dealer I don't want a small problem to turn into a big one.

My 07 RKC did that, turned out it was the o ring on the breather bolt went bad due to to much heat. Cool that thing down and put in a new o ring and all should be good

Yes I'd check the breather bolts also, may be misting oil out through there.

Had the same thing happen to my STI. Oil came thru the top of the block, was a bad casting. Took me 21 days to get the car back tho

I'd hope for the oil breather (whatever thats called) tho.
