I used the Arnott system and really like it. The compressor comes with a mounting bracket that slips into some tabs under the battery. Neat install. I wired the up down switch to my PPT switch, with relays, as I do not use it for anything else. I do believe the kit will come with handlebar switches but check with them to be sure. The full kit is around $700.00 if I remember correctly but go to the website and check them out.

I installed the Arnott Aldan system on my 07 Ultra. I love the setup. The compressor mounts under the battery box and the only issue I had is that a coal / smog canister was mounted where the compressor needed to go (I have a California emmisions bike). Once the canister was removed, it was a pretty simple install. I also got the air gauge, whcih works great. I think your friend will be happy with the system.

The Aldan set was about $1000. I went with the 13" shocks so when the system has no air, the rear of my bike rides some 3 inches lower but wont rub my 18" rear rim.

Yup, ride sucks with all the air out, but it sure looks cool. Whats nice is the ride becomes comfy again when you air it up. The wife definitely appreciates that!

I couldnt go with the 12" because it would have rubbed against the 18" wheel.
