Default Chopped Tourpak with speaker PODS

Is it possible? I have the chopped tourpak and just added the wraparound backrest pad. Will the ultra speaker pods work on the chopped tour pack or is it 2 tight?

Thanks

I believe it will be 3" to tall to fit in there right. But I have not tried it.

Not trying to be a wise acre, but do you have a tape measure and a dealership close by? They've probably got an Ultra on the showroom floor that you can measure, and that would let you go back to the Chopped unit and see if it would fit. Should be pretty easy to figure out. I've got the chopped TP too, so I'd be interested in knowing as well. I'd like to put the wrap around backrest on mine too, as the wife said she'd really like it. Do you happen to have a template for drilling the holes? Thanks.

Given that the chopped TP's bottom is 3" shorter than the King TP, and given that the speaker pods are virtually identical in height to the bottom of the King TP (albeit slightly shorter to accommodate the lid, perhaps), do you really need to measure anything?

I just bought a Chopped TP and am interested in a template also. I would appreciate if some one would email one to me.

Thanks,

I have a template available - free but with a small catch, kind of a "pay it forward" deal. I will mail it to you if you agree to send an email to Forman HD in Stillwater OK, thanking them and explaining this story.

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/gener...-a-dealer.html

This template is not available from HD as a purchaseable item (see the story link). I saw they had this style backrest for sale on ebay so I contacted them, told them my sob story and one of their sales people made a copy and sent it to me. Free. I'll send it if you agree to pass it on to the next member you see that needs it. Free, with the same conditions for the next receipient.

If this sounds fair, send me a PM and we'll set it up. We'll put our names and dates on the template and keep passing it on, hopefully for a long time.
