Great thread! Battling the same decision, and I have to say that Jamie has been up front and honest with each bugging question I've sent him!

Guys like Fuel Moto are paying dearly to be sponsors here, so they definitely need our business. What I like are that we have several vendors (Wheeldock and Fuel Moto to name a few) who really seem to have gone above and beyond on this Forum to support us and their products. I think they have earned our business for sure. If it weren't for Jamie's excellent reputation here at the Forum, I too might well still be on the fence.
As for me, I probably have spent several grand over this winter on my bike and I look at it (the bike) and am hard pressed to see where it all added up. But it does!

I did this list more for me then for you because I knew I spent allot, but a glance at the bike doesn't readily show it. (most of the mods aren't even shown in this photo either.)

I've been running my '08 RK with slipons, Ness intake and IED's and never a problem. And it does get a bit warm here in traffic and at extended stops during the summer. It runs just fine. No "glowing" pipes. No detonation. No melting legs.
