I'm going with Amsoil in all three. Thanks for the input I have decided to go with Amsoil Severe Gear in the Tranny.
There is three weights of Severe Gear. The 75-90 is about the same viscosity as 20-50 engine oil. The 75-110 will give you a little thicker oil. Some use the 75-140 but I've heard that gear oil that thick will reduce your gas mileage a little. So I recommend the 75-110.
Loyal Amsoil fan here. 20w-50w engine and primary, 75w-90w trans. I also brush my teeth with it and my wife will put a little behind her ears to get me "in the mood".
dont put it in the primary whole. to slippery for the clutch.
Nonsence, its made for wet clutch applications. Running AMSOIL 20-50 engine, 10-40 primary and 75-90 gear lube in tranny. Runs like a Swiss clock. 20-50 TO HEAVY FOR PRIMARY AND TO LIGHT FOR TRANNY.
The AMSOIL has cause my scoot to run much much cooler. There is a noticeable change from before. I was running Syn3 and I am extremely amazed that from one synthetic to another there would be this much difference. I am satisfied with this stuff bringing down the temperature.
AMSOIL in all 3 is fine. I do use the SVT 75-110 gear oil in the trans though.
If you can wait a month, AMSOIL is dropping their prices a little bit since the oil prices have dropped.
