Has anybody ever purchased a used PC III???
If all the parts are there and the CD with cable, all you have to do is find your map and program it!!
Assuming it works , all you need is the unit and the 9V-battery adapter. Without the adapter you are limited to programming it tethered both to a computer and the bike with the engine running, which isn't always convenient. Make sure the seller guarantees against DOA.
The CD is worthless because you'll need to download the latest version of the software from the PC site, as the one on the CD is likely old and may lack important options and functions. You should also download the latest firmware and install it. Be advised that you can't upgrade the firmware without the 9V adapter. Warning: Don't try it with the ignition on or engine running!
