Question Question on fitting Power Commander on '08 ultra?

would like to go with the PC V for my '08 ultra but when looking under the seat there really appears to be no room to accommodate the PCV harness and plug!! Has anyone installed a PC V or III in an ultra '08. Any input would be greatly appreciated

I assume you must have ABS? If so, space is limited. If not, there is plenty of room under the right side cover.

I just did a pc v retro kit install from fuel moto on my 08 FLHX w/ABS. Here is a link to some pictures I posted in another thread which may help answer your question. I think the install should be similar between the two models.

The third pic points out the connector, the pc v, and the auto tune modules.[/quote]
Yes i have the ABS version an man there is no or little room anywhere. I looked at the Dynojet site and the have a PDF file for install for 2008 but the pics they show seem to have lots me room then I have under my seat! Your pictures are a great help. My concern is the connector, even without the caddy in place doesn't seem to be enough room between the battery and a large wire harnest opposite the battery. Also how did you twist and tuck tha big ECM connectoron the side of the battery? I tried it with mine and it just seems like I'll twist off the wires from the connector if tring to rotate it so to get it facing up, don't want to force it too much.

As you see I also have 08 annv ultra w abs. It is a tight fit for the connection in front of the battery but it does fit. I cut all the twist ties on the wires in that area, to try a free up some room. After I had every thing install, I re twist tied every thing again. I should of taken pictures after I finished it but I didnt, sorry.
