So its 30 degrees out tonight when I got off work. I was feeling a bit down and decided that I should call my therapist. Now I know its 11:00PM and she was probably sleeping but I needed someone to talk to. So I went out to the garage and woke her up which she was not very happy about at first but at my insistance, she woke up and we talked for a few minutes er, miles that is.
For all you folks out there that have lost a job in the current economic crap I don't envy you and wish only the best for you. Just remember that if your reading this, you probably have a really good therapist too.
Mine is only 4 years old but she's got to be the best woman I've ever talked to.
My therapist decided that she wanted a massage and facial today. So, I'm going to be giving her the Klasse treatment in a few. Nothings too good for her...she's getting the AIO and several coats of the SG treatments. Got to take care of the therapist that takes care of me.
Had no doubt what this was about, just reading the subject line. Absolutely. Doesn't matter how crappy I feel, or how crappy the day's been, it all goes away with a good ride. Guess you either "get it" or you don't. Can't imagine what I'd do without it. --- Not to be a big downer but... my wife has advanced cancer and can't ride anymore. When I can get away, the bike is the best escape imagineable. Wish she had something similar to feel so good. We're a lucky bunch to have found such a great release.
My therapist is a year old and I can't wait till she joins me in Indiana in two weeks! Going through withdrawals! Gonna be up here just below Indy for 3 months and couldn't be without her!
My therapist is nearly 70 years old in Dog Years. And she's always treated me right. Paid for the day I got her, and added on as I could afford things. My heart goes out too, for those have lost their job, have illness in their family, or struggles that have been placed in their path in this most difficult of times. God Bless you all, and ride safe out there. Regardless of how old your therapist is.....
