I own an 05 RK Classic and I can't decide on replacements for the stock pipes. I will likely go with the SE line of pipes, but can anyone tell me the difference in sound and preferences between the SE II slip on's and the SE Pro performance mufflers? Thanks....Al

I have the Screamin' Eagle Pro Performance Slash Down's out of the Screamin' Eagle Racing Catalog, Part # 64903-99. THey sound great and won't disturb your neighborhood to much unless you want them to. I don't see any SEII's for the touring bikes in the racing catalog. I think the Pro Performance are the SEII's for the touring bikes.
Another alternative is Kerker slip ons (I believe Kerker makes the SE for Harley - but not sure) They sound pretty close and the end caps are interchangeable. You can pick up a new set of those on Ebay most of the time for around $240 - $250...
Trust me they really do sound and look like SE pipes...
