Default Super Trap Exhaust Question

I have an 07 Ultra....

Does anyone run the SuperTrap exhaust on their bike. If so how do you have the disc set up. I want sound but no too much that I cant hear my tunes..

No need to tell me I should have bought something else, I got what I wanted just need some info from riders who has them already..

Thanks

Im running 18 on my Supermeg 2:1. 16 was too quiet and I can't feel any performance diffrence between 18 and 20, but 20 is a bit louder than I wanted. It's not diffucult to experiment with but waiting for the pipe to cool between is a pain.

same here, make sure to use anti seize liberally on the screws every time you remove them.

I'm runnin' 9 plates in a Supertrap 2 into 1. It works well, but I'll probably add a plate or 4. It's not noisy now, & I doubt a few more plates will make it much noisier.

They drill a hole in the end cap. I bought a spare for them to drill. About $15 from J&P.

Basically stock 96" motor with a Big Sucker air cleaner, Supertrapp 2:1 that was dyno tuned with a SERT. The tuner settled on 14 discs, closed end cap. I'm happy with the low rumble that it gives in town and it's pretty quite on the highway, which is just fine by me.

The ones I bought are not 2:1, but I still want to see how they work. I got them for a great price from a guy here on the forum...
