Default Rear wheel removal

What is involved with removing the rear wheel? I would like to change the tire, but don't have the service manual. I'll probably get one soon but would like to change the tire this weekend. Thanks for constructive responses not advise like "Just go buy a manual."

Put the bike on a jack. Remove the saddle bags, mufflers and belt guard. Place a scissors jack under the rear wheel and raise it till it just touches the tire. Remove the aixle and move the tire toward to the front of the bike to remove the belt. After the belt is removed, slowly lower the scissors jack till the tire is free. To put the wheel on repeat the process in reverse. Torque the axle nut to 95 ft lbs, install belt guard, mufflers, and hard bags. Now go out a buy a manual.

If your bike has ABS you need to make sure the pickup for the sensor is rotated to the correct position. There is a small pin on the pickup that needs to be touching the same spot as it was went you pulled it off. You might put some anti-seize on the axle too.
