Noob Q - After seeing some others with a clean back end, I am convinced that's the next mod to my 03 RK Classic. While I have searched, I haven't found definitive instructions on removing it - seen many talking about hacking it off with a saw...so, is there a way I can just unbolt it? If so, any issues with the bags? Thanks.

Nick
I bought a set of brackets and bullet ends that allowed me to unbolt it instead of cut it.
Do NOT cut..Thats tacky on a 20,000 grand bike..There are multiple companys out there that make brkt kits that bolt on. I got mine from J & P cycles, with lights in the end...
Nick, do yourself a favor and buy the Service Manual for your bike. Removing that bar (support tube in Harley-speak) is very easy (two bolt on each chrome cover; then two bolts on each side of the bar/support tube).

+1...Very easy to remove and lots of options out there to dress it up. Found my grab bar eliminators on here. Good luck
