Pounder, if you have had 26,000 miles without issues, there is no way HD will replace your bike. Giver them a little more time to find a remedy and then find a different dealer if they still can't figure it out. It sounds like everything but the main harness has already been changed, so that is the logical next step. Good luck with getting this sorted.
Most problems arise after modifications have been done, but yea, **** does happen occasionally.
Alot of the problems I see, like you, are when someone has modified the bars and hasn't bothered to extend the wires.
People wouldn't consider throwing a set of apes on a bike without replacing the cables, but somehow the TBW is just somehow magically supposed to grow to the proper length when they swap bars....
What cracks me up now 31-26K miles, modifications, motor bumps and you now want to hold Harley Davidson respondsible to fix or replace your bike. The warranty is to cover defects not wear and tear or modifications. How could you honestly go to a any dealer and expect that. Lemon law????
Personally if I where you I would get a full face helmet with the darkest shield and hide your face in shame.
Waiting for the dealer to come pick up my bike for the above mentioned issue. Threw the following codes
P0118 ET Sensor Voltage Open/High EFI
P0120 TPS1 Range Error
P0123 TP Sensor High EFI
P0220 TPS2 Range Error
P0223 TPS2 High/Open
P2135 TPS Correlation Error
P2176 EFI Closed Position Not Learned
P2138 TGS Correlation Error (Twist grip sensor)
P1510 EFI Limited Performance Mode
P1511 EFI Power Management Mode
Only thing I did was hook up Fuelmoto's PCV and airfilter. I did this after 53 miles from new and the bike died. It will be interesting to see what they find. I dont hate Harley, I got a V Rod to ride but I hope this is not a chronic issue as this is my bike for going distance. Would be bad if I am 500 miles from home and I get limp home mode. Will post result in the thread I started a few days ago
On a side note, the 53 miles I did ride the bike were outstanding. The bike rides/handles great and am glad I bought it!

Screw TBW......I knew this was coming.....I stated it here.
Yeah, cars have had it forever, but HD don't build cars, and when they attempt this kinda crap they go cheap and toss their mistakes on their customers as usual.
I will never buy another HD. The MOCO cannot stand up and be honest about thier mistakes. American men do that, but HD doesn't.
NO TBW problems here. Running smooth as silk!
I'll be sure and wave to you on your Goldwing when we pass each other.
Pounder...all this time you've hidden the real reason things have gone south...and you're calling people idiots for your omissions! You need to have stated all the facts at first!
You're riding a bike with at least 26K on it...you modded it...Dude...you own the issue! this is not a lemon law thing...it's not a new bike! Harley has no claim to the prob unless they did all the work! And even then...how long ago was it and are you in the warranty period for work??
Please, we want to help you with all your issues...but state all the facts up first so we can use those facts to point you in the right direction! We're always here to help...but let us know everything up front!
Always here to help, Mike

how long after you changed the bars did this happen? just be aware if they find out it was something YOU messed up you may be looking at a hefty bill outside of warranty
