Has your problem been resolved? Mine was in for 5 weeks with the same issues and I still get tbw errors. They've tried grip sensors, ecm, and throttle body's.
Screw TBW......I knew this was coming.....I stated it here.
Yeah, cars have had it forever, but HD don't build cars, and when they attempt this kinda crap they go cheap and toss their mistakes on their customers as usual.
I will never buy another HD. The MOCO cannot stand up and be honest about thier mistakes. American men do that, but HD doesn't.
Just curious, What make of bike are You going to buy?

BigK, This thread is from May, so you may want to shoot the OP a private message as he may not see your post now.
If you do just ask him to reply back on this thread so we all can see it.
My Bike has been in the shop for 2weeks now and there talking changing the wiring harness (What a piece of **** this bike has turned out to be)
This is like the 4th time in the shop and they can't figure it out theyv'e changed the twist grip sensor like 4 times the induction module and even the ecm.
I will be riding the bike and all of a sudden i will loose the throttle nothing no response and the bike will go into limp mode and shoot the error codes in the speedo.
Harley will spends thousands trying to figure this out rather then give me a new scoot.
I did change the bars out but it should'nt be doing this.
Any electrical gurus on here
how long does it take to swap a wiring harness out??
I had harness replaced on my 08 when travelling through Delaware. They replaced induction module and harness in about 5 hours 2 techs.
I had several problems like your having. I only had 1 TGS replaced once though. They replaced TGS the last time and didn't make it out of the parking lot for test ride. They worked with HD Tech support and overnighted the module and harness.
When I got home I talked with my local service manager and he spoke with HD regional manager about all my problems. I brought all 12 warranty covered work orders and records to dealer. Next thing you know HD bought my 08 back for MSRP when I purchased it and I bought a 2010 Limited.
Going through this when travelling is a real PITA and I started loosing my LOVE for HD but when HD pulled through with this I felt alot better.
I would not wish problems like this on anybody. Good luck

Wow! I bet they wanted your bike to do a teardown for diagnositics work. Not sure they'd do it for everyone. You were the right problem on the right day, for sure.
It's easy to patient if you have had no problems. While everything mechanical some times breaks down it gets old when it happens over and over and it takes weeks to fix the problem. So if your lucky enough to have had no issues great, but if the time comes this happens to you remember to be patient.
I had the same problem on my 08 RG -- I would be riding hit the gas and all of a sudden it would go into limp mode -- I did not have it long enough to get it checked out (totalled)

I had a throttle cable break in an airplane at 3,000 ft once, engine went to idle and Had to land in a field. That's what you call pucker factor. I also had a throttle cable break on an Ultra. Fortunately that was only 1 block from my house.
