Carhart rain jacket. it's gortex rain PROOF and it breaths. NO AIR FLOW IN its the best riding jacket I ever bought but I bought it for work. I wear it in rain or not in rain absolutly worth the money $100, insulated same jacket $200. Any rain pants doesn't matter cause the wind will get rain up them any way. boots will get wet too so it really doesn't matter unless you go full rubber suit.

I got a Nelson Rigg suit I've had awhile that wasn't expensive and does the job.

I use a HD Overpass Rain Suit and a set of overboots I got from Kneesliders for $20. Works great for me. However the idea of waiting it out is also attractive here in Florida. The showers usually don't last very long!!
