Default SERT warranty

Hi every one, i love your forum plenty of good information. I have a sportster1200, i am about changing it for a FLHXI. I would like to know if you loose your warranty when you put SERT on a bike????

excuse my english i am a french canadian......


here is the plan for the bike:

-stage 1 bigbore 1550cc
-rine hart true duall exhaust
-SERT
-s&s gear cam
-chrome

if the dealer does it no!!!!!!

if you/non dealer does it things get sticky....Technically no, but the dealer will try to get out of it, and blame any problems on that.

But I know many guys who did this, and fought the dealer and won........

Actually I did mine, but haven't had any warrenty issues.....yet

Forget the SERT and get a PCIII. Have it dynoed in Granby at Picottes.

I hope not since I bought one the same day as I purchased the bike along with the SE A/C Stage 1 and Exhaust. I went with the SERT since it doesn't add anything in the circuit like the PCIII does and modifies the ECM directly and then is removed. One less item to go bad and from everything I read is the preferred way to go.
