Glad you're okay. Just lost a fellow brother down in Miami, a 71 yr old went across the median and hit him. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

glad to hear you are getting better. I wouldn't mind my bike falling on me if it didn't already have the damage. Glad to hear you still have a sense of humor, and good luck with your color choice. They all rock.

Glad to hear that you will be ok after you heal. As a nurse, I have seen my share of seriously hurt bikers... most of the time it has been the bikers fault - the Harley guys like to drink and ride, and the crotch rockets are usually going way to fast. Yet it always makes me a little queasy when the hurt biker comes in and the car was at fault. On those days, I usually ride home extra careful and give my wife and kids an extra hug.

BTW as far as the new street glide goes, I'm partial to black pearl, but the rootbeer looks really nice too. Ride safe all.

Really glad to read that you are on the mend! Had a close call yesterday near the local mall. There are several entrance lanes and folks seem to think they all gotta use the first one and zip over all three lanes of traffic to get there. BTW, I think the rootbeer colored SG is just awesome...

I admire your courage in thinking about your next bike. Hope you mend fast and complete. I was downed once by a van that turned into my lane but being in that situation was partly my fault. I was turning right onto a two lane, in my direction, road. I "assumed" the van coming would stay in the inside lane. NOT. I too almost got T-Boned by a car that ran a red light. Stopped short on that one. I wasn't going too fast but had I been there one second earlier I would have been nailed. The way people drive cars ticks me off. They just don't look before they do things. I enjoy riding but it seems like all bikers are just targets waiting to get nailed. And the people driving just don't seem to give a damn about riders. I think their attitude is "well, you've chosen to put yourself at risk by riding, so if it happens, it's your fault. If you were in a car, you would have just been bumped around a little". Some attitude, huh? I try to ride on low traffic roads but not always. You just can't be too careful out there.
