Thanks all for the kind words and well wishes. The healing continues, each day its a tiny bit better. This weekend went to the dealer and sat on an Ultra. I could stand it up on my own. It won't be long now before I can ride one home. Today (Wednesday 5/27) one month later, I put a deposit down on a new 09 EG Classic. Black. Looked at all the colors and still came back to black. Just fits me better, as the wife cheered me on. Love that women for enduring all this with me. Anyhow hope to have it home in a few days. Still not wise to ride, not strong enough physically yet, but my head sure is. Shopping for the new bike is some of the best medicine. Thanks again everyone. Ride Safe!

God was looking out for ya that day!!!!! God speed on your recovery and I feel the Red Sunburst is a great color!!!! I feel ya pain, 07-17-07 taken down by a Semi at 55 mph into a ditch and 08-16-08 taken down by a 17 yr old bimbo yapping on a cell phone. Pulled out into me at at about 20 mph in downtown Friday night traffic and left with me under the drivers side of her car and I could hear her screaming on the cell phone as she was leaving while I was trying to get up and away before being ran over!!!!!

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Hope you heal with no lasting effects. '09 Street Glide would have been an excellent choice. I seriously looked at the EGC before I purchased my Street Glide.
