Good God Almighty - you're lucky to be alive. I'll send some good thoughts your way and I hope your recovery is speedy and as uneventful as possible. God must have some plans in store for you my friend...
Glad to hear you are ok. I wrecked 7 mos ago. got cut off on the highway hitting a guard rail atabout 65 mph. Over 10 broken ribs, punctured lung, two broken arms, broken ankle and foot. I bought my new bike back in march.
Ouch...nicely described. Good luck on your recovery. Must have been a fugly feeling watching that bike sit up and then drop on you. Been in enough I could see that...nasty. You may not feel like it but you are one lucky guy.
