punched in lower shock adapter and found this thread...thats when the sea parted and the clouds gave way to knowing exactly what I was dealing with , with my bike,lol. (I had a lowering kit )
nice info here on those lowering blocks, was going to get them then searched on the forum and seen they are not so good. I will just get a seat with a low profile good info here.
Don't give up on the lowering blocks idea, lots of people are using them with no problems. As long as you don't go so low as to rub the tire. I use 1" blocks with 13" shocks and have zero issues, so I get the benefit of 13" shocks without raising the rear on a street glide.
I have a 27 inch inseam and to lower my FLHX I went with Progressive 1" lower monotubes in the front and Suspension Technologies 11" shocks in the rear.
Much better ride even with my bride on the back. No more jolt when crossing RR tracks ,manhole covers etc.
