I think it all boils down to the fact there is not a perfect one size fits all seat. My sundowner is perfect for me but I guess for some its not.

+1 same here. Took a 1900 mile trip in March to Fl. No "butt burn" here.

I've got a Sundowner on my 2007 RKC. I'm 6'2" 220 lbs. and my wife is 5'5 115 lbs. We've put 23k on that seat together and we love it.

I think seats are like bikes... not one style or size fits all..... sometimes you need to try a few before you get the right one..

on my 07 RG, the stock seat was awful. replaced with a sundowner, and I can ride 12-13 hours a day with no problems at all. just proves that there is no one seat which will work for everyone. kindof like exhaust systems!

Just took my first long ride on the Sundowner that I put on this winter. 3,000 miles over nine days and no problems. Way better than stock. Wife took her first short ride this weekend and likes it better, too. Also, I have the backrest, which is also awesome.

I like the stock seat around town, but for trips and 2-up the Sundowner is great.

Had one on my 06 SG--loved it-including 7500 miler two years ago. Got a newly designed Sundowner for my 09---took it back, I did not like it nearly as much as the one made for my 06. I will probably go with Mustang, always had good luck with their seats.
