I just got another sundowner..............everybike I have had has had one i guess.......I have to say this one does not impress me at all!!! A hammock will be next!!! If you havent tried one you wont believe it!!! BY FAR THE BEST HARLEY SEAT OUT OF ANY OF THEM!!! WOW!! The sundowner is like sitting on a 2X4 versus the Hammock......

I too bought the sundowner deep bucket and I hated it. So......I sent it off to MCC and it is definatley better,but it could still be improved. Not that MCC did anything wrong,I just need more comfort. Have had 3 low back surgeries so it takes awhile to find a comfortable position to ride in. Going to send it back to MCC when I get the chance.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. This is my second season with the Sundowner and I think its so incredibly comfortable and gives me a relaxed stance. Obviously by reading other posts on the forums it is quite clear that the majority of riders are very pleased with the seat as am I. I guess you just are one of the odd shaped ones who find it not to your liking. Bottom line, unlikely it's the seat, just your butt.

WOW!hat a rebuttal on the Sundowner seat. I guess I will put it back on my "short list" of seats to consider. Probably will be going with a Solo since my wife doesn't ride.

I just put one on my 09' SERG. Softer and higher than stock but feels about the same after 1 hour. I am going on a 2000 miler in a couple of weeks. Don't know what to do now. I don't think I can get it modified that quick and I don't want to keep buying seats. T.

Not that you want to spend any more money but I own an air hawk seat pad. I think I've only used it a couple of times. Actually I think my wife put it under her butt on a couple of long rides.
