Default Re-install front fairing

Has anyone heard about heavy duty inserts that replaces the brass threaded bosses on the fairing to tightup around the windshield. The standard ones seem to pull out if you tighten just alittle too much. would lioke the part number thanks.

your dealer should have the part number.. Im not sure they are heavy duty but I believe they are redesigned to screw in instead of being a molded in insert as stock.. Some good super glue or better yet some good epoxy should fix the ones you have ... Just remember its a brass insert in plastic holding the upper fairing and windshield together... No need for 100 lbs of torque

there must have been a design improvement on the newer models, cause i am not too gentle when tightening the three windshield screws. just that i don't get carried away either. good luck and hope you get it working for you.
