Good tip!

Next time try the non polarized version, you'll get non of this. If you use them for boating or other water activities, polarization is what you want, for motorcycles you don't.

You get what you pay for. I have wore glasses all my life and found the cheap crap is just that. My sunglasses are Ray Ban frames I purchased at Lens Crafters - $765 total cost for just the sunglasses $670 for the clear which are also Ray Ban framed. My sunglasses are polarized, anti reflective, poly carbon high impact, progressive trifocals and super dark tinted. My glasses are to me what tools are to a mechanic. My clear glass are the same as the sunglasses less the polarization and tint but in addition are transitions.

I cannot wear contacts, lasik is out and because of my prescription I cannot have too much curve in the lens. I wear my glasses about 20 hours a day so for me they have to be the best I can get. Check out Lens Crafters they have a pretty good selection. Don't cut yourself short when it comes to your eyes.

I don't have any problems with seeing through the windshield.

Couple of others had it right already. Polarization effect of the lens causes you to see a little different spectrum of light with certain sun angles through the shield.
Same should happen if you have a normal factory tint on a cage. This can also cause your gauge faces to look as though they are fogged or hazed over in certain conditions.
But hey if you fish you sure can see through the water and watch that bass pounce on your buzz bait early in the morning

I am old and got tired of changing glasses or the clip on so just went to the Cocoons. They have several frames to pick from and you wear them over your glasses. They wrap around and are wide on top so they block out the sun, wind, dont fog and are polarized, (no funny distortion though). I was really unsure when I bought them but thought what the he.... nothing ventured nothing gained. I love them just take them off and throw them in the bag. they fit great under a helmet also. Take it easy on me guys the older I get the more I look for easy, comfortable, affordable and practical solutions. I also wore Maui jims before I had to wear regular glasses all the time and they are great.

I have had the Bolle TRU Rx Venom Sunglasses for a couple years now and very happy with them. Non-polarized, single vision - work great.

Ray-Ban! I Love-m! I have a Stigmatisum, so my lenses are thick. I just bought a pair at Sears Optical. They are polarized, and have every thing you can get to make the lens thinner, lighter, and stronger.Sears, like other Optical stores will run specials. I like a WRAP style frame for Ride-n.If you really want to spend some BUCKS, check into the GATORZ. Paul Jr. from OCC wears a pair that are pretty COOL!
