The E3 isn't available in your sizes, either front or rear, but in response to the E3 for older bikes they've introduced the American Elite. You can do a search on these here, but I haven't seen a lot of feedback yet since they've only been out a few months.

I can't explain this, as this certainly isn't my experience, nor have I heard about it beyond just you and the other guy (who posted two years ago ). Tail wagging in bikes with the older frame is common and typical. It usually shows up in sweepers at highway speeds, especially when there are irregularities in the road that cause the suspension to move. It's a side-effect of the rear engine mount and the frame, which flexes more than those in the newer bikes ('09 and later). Stabilizers like the Progressive Touring Link help, but don't eliminate the problem entirely. My bike suffers from it like all of them do, but I can't say that changing to the E3 made it better or worse in my case.

I guess that I should have been a little more specific as it is not a tail wag that is bothering me. I have installed a glide pro which seems to have taken care of the wag for the most part. It is the front end of my bike that feels very light after swapping tires. When you get in behind a large truck the front end feels like you are going to have a tank slapper on your hands. If I drive with my feet on the floorboards at 80mph it is dam scary and it feels a little better to have my feelt on the highway pegs where I can get a little more weight on the front end. I am running 40 in the rear and 38 in the front. I have also tested 36 in the front but I didn't notice any big difference. The neck has also been checked and I have an appropriate amount of swing. If anyone has any ideas I am up for suggestions. I didn't realize that I was digging up such an old post lol, I guess four days at a rally will do that to ya.

Running the same on my 08 Ultra , just installed another E3 as I jammed a wheel wieght off a truck in my old one (14,000 miles ) Only issue I have had is the bike slips around some until you get a 100 or 150 miles on it . Then it should good to go !

I ran a pair of these on my old Suzuki. Was same size rear tire as my Ultra. thing is, when I put it on, the E3 was skinnier than the same sized tire I replaced it with. Is it just me or is the E3 Skinny on the HD as well? I am looking to replace some tires real soon and was again looking at the E3's, but hated that skinny tire look.
