Trace the outline of your tires where the rubber meets the road. Those to small tire foot prints is all that you have keeping you on the road.

New tires are pricy but whats the cost of a crash?

Plugs and motorcycle tires do not mix! The heat generated cause the plugs to let loose. I personally do not know any shops that are willing to even patch one from the inside. Must be a reason, looks like you're in for a new rubber.

Some do plug them - but not me. I am not recommending it but I understand that the best way to do it is to plug it from the inside and add a tube.

Plugs are only to get me to a place where I can have the tire patched. That's on my cars. On the bike, I will get a new tire. I would never run a plug on the bike.

I won't run a plug in a front tyre I would have a tube fitted instead.
