Default New guy with a few ??

Hello,

We have a custom paint and body shop in northern Vermont. We do mostly cars but do do a bike every now and then. We just got in a Harley to restore. It is a 1984 Electra Glide Classic. I really don't know a lot about Harley's so I went to the Internet and found you guys. Anyway the owner tells me that it was the last year for the paint on it and would like to paint it the same (it is a two tone cream/yellowish color) To do this is no trouble for us but here is the tricky part for me. He would like us to paint all the body parts just as they were from the factory and also do a set with custom paint so he can change over when he wants.

On the custom side of it he would like to loose the touring package. Pretty much just the tank and fenders. Anyone ever do something like this? Any pics? When taking it apart I seen it is more then just fenders and tank. The side covers are made to flow with the saddle bags so they wont work. Battery box. I just got into it so any info will be great. I am sure there are a lot of things to change out to do this. time to check out some of your sponsors for parts.

Thanks!!!
