I sat on that bike yesterday at BCHD...I didn't particularly like the color or the color matched saddle bag latches. Everything else HD did to the '10, I already did to my '09...and then some!
I picked up my bike yesterday after a detail job and fluid change...also found out they have to replace the entire tour pak lid...they scratched the sh*t out of it when they moved it out...Chris can tell you ALL about it when you see him next time!
I MAY be at the dealer tonight for the Humpday music...every other one has been rained out. Let me know if you can make it to the dealer tonight.
I love the shield and yes, I could have gone with the 15 or 16 and probably should have....it's all good though, the buffeting is bearable at 70 and I can still hear the radio with the 14" CeeBailey's.
Check my profile for tons of pics of the bike torn down and rebuilt.
I can swing by on my way home tonight ... have to stop by Baskin & Robbins first... it is $1.00 cone night, and I need to save up for my 2010 RGC in Scarlet Red! I already have her nickname picked out.... 'The Period'
Here is my $.02 on the clockwerks 12". I want to post this as Im 5'9 and decided to go witth this w/s on a 10 day trip. Heres why, I like to ride with the visor on my FF open, the only way I could do that was with the oem w/s. Now I put the cw 12" on with lowers and did a couple of 200+ mile trips and I can ride with the visor open w/o any buffeting up to 80 mph, higher than that I closed it some.
The only time I had to close the visor was going into some 40 mph headwind at 75+mph. The only thing I cant confirm is if the rain will not hit me in the face too much, but I can lower my chin and hide behind the w/s, if that doesnt work too well in the rain I always can turn on the thumb wiper. FWIW

The "Humpday" thingy is NEXT Wednesday, my bad...I'll be there then.
Ended up at Bear Mtn. last night...PACKED! Left had dinner at Mahwah Bar & Grill.
Tonight, the Chatterbox in Sparta for bike night...love the ride out there!
I'm 6'2" and have not had the buffeting problems some have had or I'm just more tolerant. However, as some others have said, the real buffeting comes from below, not from over or around the windshield. I don't think changing the windshield will make much of a difference. And, you have to remember, we're riding motorcycles and wind is part of that sport...........
I just put a 17" Cee Baileys SSC on mine and really like it. Had a stock HD shield...Clearview standard...and now the Cee Bailey. In my search for the right shield for my Road Glide this one is the best so far.
I have 5 different shields to proove I have tried everything. I love the Clearview +2,it is by far the best shield out there. I can hear my stereo better then ever,I can hear my bike, and I can even hear wehn cars are coming up next to me on the hiway, that is a big pls right there. I only got the +1/2" but the +2 would have been even that much better.
Yes, any year from 2004+ will fit on the 2010. I think the earlier ones will actually bolt on but the angle is quite a bit different. That's what I've been told.
First ride with my Clearview +2 (with vent) on my '09 FLTR. Very windy day here, but no head buffeting (well, a little at high speed with a 90-degree cross-wind), I can hear the stereo perfectly, and can even read the street/road signs which I couldn't do with the OEM. Rode a couple of hours on the freeway, back roads, and in the city.
My ears don't hurt, and my neck's not sore.
I don't know if I posted it or not but I have a Clearview GT Small (light grey tint, 1 inch under stock) from an '05 R/Glide for sale. It performed as advertized but the top edge was directly in my line of sight. I've got one small trip with it (2300 mi.) and took it off. I have a custom seat so buying an expensive shield for me was a mistake. It would be rated 8-9 out of 10. I'm asking $100 plus shipping. New it was $195 plus shipping.
