Well I just pulled the trigger on a clearview +2" because I don't usually ride in the rain(on Purpose)so I like to see through my shield.

At 6'2", I am happy with the 14" CeeBailey windshield. If I had to do it again, I'd probably NOT get the dark tint and go with a shade lighter.

Question for shredsurf: Why would you not go with the dark tent if you had it to do over? At 6'2", do you look thru or over the windshield? The thumbnail pic looks like the windshield is close to stock in shape & height, correct? How's the buffeting?

Lowers help alot with the FORCE of air coming up from the sides of the tank that causes problems.
I went with a +1.5 Clearview for my RG and could not be happier.
I run with lowers until it gets hot out (+90F), then they come off.
I have same exact set up and am happy with it, although I think a 2"+ CV would make it better. I leave my lowers on year round.

Ok... that does it! I really need to see your bike now, for I, too, am 6'2'' (or a shade under), and am seriously considering a 2010 road glide custom in scarlet red - there is one at BCHD. I would love to meet up at the dealership one day, so the next time you are heading there, I would appreciate it if you let me know in advance, and I will haul myself over.

How do you like the shield? I think you can go to 15" and 16" on that one... correct? Do you get any swirling wind hitting you in the helmet? Do you ride with lowers on vs lowers off, and how does that effect you? As you can see... inquiring minds want to know!

At night, it's alittle tricky, I see over it but, I like the feeling of being able to see EVERYTHING in front of me...at night I tend to hit alot of pot holes!
Buffeting around the sides still sucks, but it's SOO much better than when I had the SERG windsh*t on.

I sat on that bike yesterday at BCHD...I didn't particularly like the color or the color matched saddle bag latches. Everything else HD did to the '10, I already did to my '09...and then some!

I picked up my bike yesterday after a detail job and fluid change...also found out they have to replace the entire tour pak lid...they scratched the sh*t out of it when they moved it out...Chris can tell you ALL about it when you see him next time!

I MAY be at the dealer tonight for the Humpday music...every other one has been rained out. Let me know if you can make it to the dealer tonight.

I love the shield and yes, I could have gone with the 15 or 16 and probably should have....it's all good though, the buffeting is bearable at 70 and I can still hear the radio with the 14" CeeBailey's.

Check my profile for tons of pics of the bike torn down and rebuilt.

Well I am 5'11" and I just bought the CV+2 so I hope it is not too tall for me. They did say that as long as I don't remove the plastic film from the windshield I can return it for a refund or an exchange. What do you think KKarey?

Just bought a '09 Road Glide and don't like the stock windshield over 45 m.p.h. I debated and debated and finally settled on Klock Werks new 16" shield. Should have it within a week or so...will report back after I try it out.
