Roadside Camping
I loaded the Wyndham app on my phone. Let’s you choose from low end all the way up to posh places. All while earning points for future stays at Wyndham properties. Life is too short to stay in **** holes anymore. I’m done with hotels full of pipeliners and crime scene tape!! Hahahahah
State and national parks are great places to camp. All the ones that I have camped at had showers. This will sound weird.
But, I have always thought when riding in the boonies and no place to camp near by. And it is getting dark. A cemetary would work. They are mostly isolated but are marked by road signs. And unless you are superstitious none of the residents will bother you.
Now, of course, it will depend on the officer, and your attitude. I know, in my dept, we have had people stealth camp at one of ours a couple times. Took down their info and let them be, on the condition they left by sunrise.
So long as there is no desecration, drug use, or drinking, many local town cops dont really care. But, thats entirely up to the officers.
As an aside, when I was station in Cuba, I got really, really intoxicated one night, and decided to walk through the desert, in flip flops. Bad idea. I did come across this tiny family plot, with a bench, and opted to sleep there. It was probably the smartest move I made that night. And, I wasnt bothered by any spirits-at least, not from dead folk
