Sorry bout your troubles, My primary bearing went out at 34,000 miles on a trip out west. I was lucky, Souix falls H.D. had me back on the road the same day. Mine was an 08 also. Breakdowns SUCK!!!!!
Did you do all the services or did the dealer do them? If you did all, or any, of the services yourself now is good time to make sure that all of your paperwork is in order.
Friend, from my experience with the MOCO and my local dealer, if it happened to me, the first thing I would do is drop it off at their front door without a word and then turn it totally over to my lawyer stipulating that his fees be included in the repair costs.
But that's just me, that's where I've been, and that's how I learned to deal with my dealer and the MOCO on warranty matters.

I'm hoping you ain't gotta do all that.
Wow! you must have had some bad dealers. I've had my 08 in twice for warrantry work, at 25,000 a lifter collasped and they changed all four. got it back the next day. Primary shaft bearing went on a trip back from Yellowstone and I got the bike back the same day. No hassles, I don't know about all the dealers but I had great dealings with Ocala, Fl. H.D. and Souix Falls, S.D. H.D.
well from re-reading the posts, it looks like they allready got the tip in him by taking a whole week to even look at it. sorry OP.
and the tip is just going in deeper..............I go in there this morning for a chat and get some leather gear outta the trunk cause I feel better having it at home, I say to the service dude so have you had a chance to look at it yet, no he says but I did start it briefly and it had 32 lb. oil pressure but it did smoke , so I say and what did it sound like, he says seemed okay, then this other a**hole says thats what happens when you run mobil 1 oil, its too thin..............I can't believe what these 2 a**holes said and to top it all off another dude there says yeah I've heard of that happening before with after market oil, this is in the space of 10 minutes of me being there...........
That wasnt a very considerate thing to say. Kinda proves that you're just another number to him and he doesnt care much that you're having troubles. Besides being furious, I'd bout take it sommers else.
