My 99 RG has the new HK unit and speakers. The problem I am having is it seems to fade in and out,volume will be loud then seems to go down without touching and buttons.
I am thinking loose ground???
not to hi-jack the thread from the initial problem, but if the volume is dropping as you reach slower speeds then you may have the scv (speed compensated volume) turned on or too high. Note: the SCV may not be the right nomenclature for HD. every manufactuer seems to use a different names for the same function.
